As the fast development of computer technology, application developing of enterprises makes great progress than ever. These enterprise-scale applications are applied to not only single computer or simple Browser/Server application, but also the Three/Multi Tier architecture gradually.Distributed Component technology is the combination of Component technology and Distributed Object technology. Component technology solves the problem that object strictly relies on a certain programming language and it's reusing is only based on source code level. And Distributed Object technology extends the range of object invocation to process, single machine, LAN even Internet. By making use of Distributed Component technology, our system could firstly be built on logical distributed areas, secondly it could decrease the dependency among tiers of the applications and the complexity of developing, deployment and maintenance, and finally it could raise the flexibility, security and performance of the applications and be helpful to team developing. In this paper, taken Management of Account System as application background, utilized with Distributed Component technologies on .NET platform, a distributed system is developed, which might be fit for current enterprise-scale applications.First of all, the characteristics and trends of mainstream Distributed Component technologies are analyzed after introducing their current situations in domestic andinternational. Then, the working principle and elements of Distributed Component technology are studied and the differences among the three mainstream Distributed Component platforms: Microsoft' s .NET, Sun's J2EE and OMG's CORBA are got. In this paper, Microsoft's .NET is chosen as destination platform. So after introducing the key concept of .NET Remoting, the architecture of .NET Remoting and the connectivity between COM+ and Web Service are shown. After that, according to the thoughts of RUP and Use Case Driven approach, strictly followed by the steps of Inception, Elaboration, Construction and Transition, the Management of Account: System on .NET platform is developed. Lastly, the security and performance which often be cared about are deeply discussed, and Security Policy and Component Load Balance policy are given as solutions.
