The rapid development of internet has greatly promoted the application of web technology in the robot control field. The most popular among the robot control modes is the remote control of mobile robots and the robot control system has developed gradually from the simple control of the simple mechanic equipment in a different place to the remote control of semi-intelligent and intelligent robots as well as to the distribution control system. In this development, new contents such as information merging, simultaneous monitoring and online imitation are added. It can be concluded that the robot control technology based on web has good development trend and wide application prospect.At present, the relatively mature controlling systems at home and abroad generally includes a core model, to make an operator control the physical sensor and the power driving device in the robot. Now these robot servers are mostly developed for a given controlling system, and are closely related with the inside hardware (physical sensor and power driving device). And, once the operating system is chosen, it can not be changed, and the controlling programs can only be developed according to a specific structure. Theses limitations, therefore, lead to less mobility and flexibility.This paper adopt an open-source robot server player, which will be placed on the web server as an component. The control programs, of both the end-user and end-server on the web will be designed in JAVA language. In this way, not only the component design is adopted, the system's transforability ability is guaranteed, but also the development load is reduced and the design mode is simplified and also it's possible for the model to be reused. Moreover, as the player supports several languages, one can use different development languages to design control programs and give instructions. With these features, the control system established will be pretty flexible, transforable and reconfigurable. This paper includes the following research and increation:1) How to get the sensed information about the robot and establish an online robot image2) How to effectively describe, analyze, store and transmit the obtained data.3) In terms of interface, how will we communicate through computer and how will we standardize the interface between the robot and the web.4) How to establish an architecture of robot control which is flexible, reconfigurable and easy to extend, so as to pave the way for further development a system of distributed multi-robots.
