Study On The Current Technique Of Data Exchange Based On The Technologies Of COM And JNI

In recent years, with the rapid developing of the information technologies, such as Internet/ Intranet and the continuous enhancing of the importance that the enterprises regard the information construction to themselves, there are more and more enterprise application systems based on the Web technique, such as Electronic Business, e-government and Office Automation on designing.At the same time, the new development technologies are continuously emerging that accelerated the progress of the enterprise Web application systems. Among them the Java development platform is typical, during several years from its arising to today, it has become the preference of the domain of software development by its transplant of platform standalone, security, and so on. Then the Sun corporation fitly produced J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition) framework model oriented enterprise application in 1999, which just like adding fuel to the fire to the development of enterprise Web application systems.But nowadays, we have to face the fact that MS Office suit software has absolute predominance in enterprise official domain. This made us process a lot of Office format documents when we developed the enterprise application systems. However, forcing by the commercial competence, MS Corporation has not publicized the store format of its Office documents. And the limitation in security of Java Language, those make J2EE framework model based on Java 2 encountered many difficulties at processing the Office documents. Thus the developing of J2EE framework model in enterprise application also has to face enormous roadblock. So it has become a public focus point that finding a valid approach of solving the difficult problem above mentioned by using old technologies.The thesis is just to meet that requirement and discusses how to using Java Language to operate Word documents and Excel documents by COM technique and JNI technique. The author also made detail analyses to the Word and Excel document object model and deeply researched the related software development kits on the base of reading many data. After grasped the related knowledge, the authordesigned one JavaBean component and putted it into practical project to exam the practicality. The result is satisfactory. At last, the author also gives prospect to the further developing of this technique.
