With the rapid development of military science and technology, the destructive effect of war is becoming much stronger than before. The countries all over the world try to avoid wars, but in the meantime, they strengthen the military power to deter war for peace. Therefore, a common problem that is being faced with every country is how to train their own army in peace time so that inevitable casualty and substantial losses due to the unadaptability to enemy's new ways of battling can be avoided. And the most effective of solving the problem is combat simulation.Combat simulation has come through several stages: actual combat simulation, on-map operation and calculation, computer simulation. With the networks technology widely used in military field, distributed interactive battling simulation has become the orientation of battling simulation. The development of battling simulation technology began late in our country and is lagged behind other countries, the battling simulation technology is still in the research stage.In order to meet the need of military training, the research and analysis of actual combat simulation, on-map operation and calculation and computer simulation is done in this paper. The limitation and advantages of every simulation method are also pointed out. The integration of these simulation methods enhances the effect of battling simulation in this paper. The analysis and realization of the system are also presented on the basis above.The new Combat Simulation system designed in the paper integrates computer simulation, actual combat simulation and on-map operation and calculation. The ability of human's experience thinking, inspiration thinking, and visualized thinking is also made good use of in the system. The system is divided into three subsystems: red part, blue part and directing part. Red and blue counterparts and the judge of directing part are all involved in the whole loop. The three parts can all interact with the system real-time so that the whole process of battle is much closer to the actual combat.Dupur's experience modeling is mended and the decision of the parameters of Dupur's experience modeling in actual application is dicussed.
