Nowadays, the Internet-based integrated transportation platform becomes the focus of urban transportation system research, with the purpose of widespread resource sharing and coordination. Traditional software technology system can't meet the challenges of urban transportation system effectively, with autonomy, coordination, evolution, reaction and polymorphism characteristics, which becomes the bottleneck in its development. This thesis introduces the Internetware theory to the research and practice of urban transportation system. Integrated transportation platform provides an effective infrastructure to realize transportation information sharing and transportation subsystem coordination.Firstly, based on typical transportation applications, this thesis adopts an Internetware-suitable domain modeling method FODM to obtain the feature model of transportation domain, furthermore, obtains the components specification of integrated transportation platform. Secondly, aiming at the heterogeneous, open, dynamic, variable characteristics of Internet and the essential features of Internetware, this thesis presents a transportation domain-specific software architecture TreeSA, and the component, connector, style are defined strictly. Thirdly, the thesis adopts a totally new Internet-based component technology OGSA to implements the components of integrated transportation platform, including transportation information component, transportation function components and transportation application component, furthermore, archives the components and deploys on a Internetware-supported Middleware, established the prototype system. Finally, the thesis proposes a development method for applications based on integrated transportation platform, including feature model tailoring, software architecture designing, components selection and composition, as well as system dynamic evolution, an example system is also presented to illustrate these steps.The research of integrated transportation platform based on Internetwre theory provides a new method for urban transportation system, additionally, useful for the research and practice of Internetware and other domain-specific integrated platform.
