Research And Implementation Of Network Management Structure Based On Web

With the development and application of the Web technology, the development of network management is at the direction of being based on Web interface and distributed manner. Web-based network management (WBM) comprises of the web technology and the modern distributed network management technology. And it is the important prospect of future network management development. The major standard of WBM has the difficulty of being compatible with the traditional network management. So it is necessary for designing a extendible, compatible and useful network management system architecture.This paper brings forward the architecture of network management based on the WEB/CORBA/SNMP technology in practice, and then introduces the detail function and technology of this structure. Finally, it implements the Web server of this architecture according to the advanced Web framework(Struts) with modifying the presentation layer of Struts by the use of XML. This architecture is applied to network management of Tian-yitong WLAN network management system of shanghai telecom.
