Design On Flowsheet Simulation Platform-IntelSim Of Intelligent Plant

Flowsheet simulation technique is the basis of the analysis and synthesis of chemical process and has been widely used recently. Steady flowsheet simulation has been an important method of process analysis and design since 80's. Especially, control algorithms can be designed based on the data produced by flowsheet simulation. Dynamic flowsheet simulation is a relatively new research field and has been the focus in recent years.Flowsheet simulation platform of intelligent plant-IntelSim is built up with MATLAB/SIMULINK toolkit. It can provide basic data for control algorithms. All kinds of modularized models including static estimation models of production rate and dynamic models of key units are built to support MES in chemical process. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:In chapter 1, the background, development and drawback of flowsheet simulation technique were summarized.In chapter 2, the structure and design of flowsheet simulation platform -IntelSim were introduced.In chapter 3, the content of three-step balanced model which include unit operation material balanced model, oil movement model and statistical yield accounting model was introduced. IntelSim was fulfilled based on the concept of three-step balanced model. It consisted of s-function module, covering units module, tank module and production scheme switching module.In chapter 4, dynamic simplified module and Aspen Plus software were used to realize dynamic simulations of key units.In chapter 5, the design and realization of three-step balanced database were introduced.In chapter 6, a case study of flowsheet simulation platform of an industrial refinery, IntelSim-MaoMing was given.The thesis concludes with summary and prospects of future flowsheet simulation platform researches.
