International Journalism is connected with international political relationship closely. In the information age, international journalism figures more and more valuably in the process of building a nation' s status and prestige, which has been realized by scholars concerned. Therefore, during the recent years, some studies have been made in this field, including theory-oriented studies and example-based as well. However, so far there have been nearly no strategy-studies coming into my vision. In other word, nearly no one take importance to the key question that how Chinese media can grow strong and express China' s voice to the other part of the world. This article just discusses on it.The article will demonstrate arguments in this way: combining examples and theories to explore the strategies of International Journalism. The reports about "China-France Culture Year" on domestic and foreign media are the cutting of my analysis, then the communication intent and strategy will be carefully examined, and at last the relationship between international Journalism and international politics will be interpreted to a certain extent. The whole structure is as following:Before beginning, I will give you an interesting story, 12 milliard de Martins, to illustrate the meaning of the Culture Year as well as the reports about it: make China understand the world and be understand by the world.Now, in Part 1, based on the concept of International Journalism, I will outline the history of world international journalism and describe the status quoof Chinese international journalism: the competition in this field gets hotter and hotter, but it is a pity, Chinese media is nearly mute or silent.In Part 2, the survey of the reports about the Culture Year will be introduced, and at the same time some high points of media operation will be commented. This report is rare in Chinese international journalism communication history for its long time, large scale and diverse reporting styles.In Part 3, analyze the communication strategies of the report: how do the media make effort to improve the quantity and quality of information, and to obtain good communication effect and social efficiency?In Part 4, in view of the political meaning of the Culture Year, some political analysis will be made on the report from a macro perspective of international relationship and politics.In the next part, make an objective comment on the reports: Though a series of breakthroughs, as Media Event, the reports have the unavoidable defects of lacking critics-idea and deep thinking.At last, in order to give some enlightenment to the international journalism practices and studies more clearly, I will make a general conclusion of my arguments...
