| Nowadays, VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) application is becoming a next-generation communicational service.VoIP is one of network communication technology that is fast developing and being deployed, is also one of research hotspots in the computer area.SIP-based VoIP Billing Platform is an important part of SIP-based VoIP system, which includes Carrier-Grade Linux operating system, open architecture and cluster system, innovating application software product of Open SIP Communication. This billing platform is built on cluster system, thus it has good scalability and supports a large number of users. It implements the following functions:1 independent billing-engine, supporting different billing plans;2 managing user's session process and billing in real time;3 billing function between all users in the network in time.The system has good extensibility, it can support future functionality, such asintegration of online payment system and voice call.The system is developed based on Apache+Tomcat+PHP+Postgres of linux 9.0,theitem of development and management is controlled by CVS.Testing and bug disposalare carried through by means of the testing platform of Bugzilla.During the development, the thinking of software engineering is strictly carried out.Large-Scale SIP-based VoIP Billing Platform is designed and developed by themeans of the specification of software engineering, including requirements analysis,summary design, system design and system testing.
