With the development of Internet and the arrival of later PC time, embedded system has become one of the keys in IT industry, granting the embedded system a vast market potential. At the same time, the entrance to Internet of the embedded devices has become a significant direction and consequential result of the development of network. The realization of TCP/IP protocol on embedded systems is discussed in this thesis.Firstly, the thesis focuses on an introduction to the characteristic of embedded TCP/IP as well as its development and some advanced techniques abroad. Then the thesis gives an all-round anlysis of TCP/IP of embedded system .After that, the author raises a blue print of the realization of network modules on embedded systems and evaluates its theoretical feasibility.Samsung ARM 44B0X is the basic point of the design, and its core is ARM7DMI, which is of 32-bit embedded RISC microprocessors . The software is programmed by using C language and assembly language. The design is realized through some TCP/IP protocols, such as ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP and HTTP, and the protocols' principle is analysed here in detail. Since the embedded system is of real-time, flexible and simple, the author gives respective confirmation and denial on some traditional arithmetic of TCP/IP protocol, following the standard of TCP/IP protocol. Since the exploit environment and response environment of TCP/IP protocol is independent, to meet with the requirement of flexibility there is no supposal in bottom protocol. The protocol is embedded into embedded systems through network card configuration. In addition, the user can fill the configuration parameter to confirm the system scale and choose different function module. Therefore, the composing of the system is efficient. Finally, the network transport testing is executed according to the result, and the author puts forward a proposal on improving the actualization of embedded TCP/IP.In embedded system devices, such as electronic-dictionary, set-top box, mobile phone and MP3, this technology can enhance the speed, extend the available radius and guarantee the exactness of data transmission. The technology is applicable to existing network transmission system. It can be widely-applied especially in the field of data collection, industrial control and wireless communication.
