What the thesis studies is about the target recognition system of robot in access radioactive source, and the engineering problem of access radioactive source. In the paper, robot vision technology is used as theory foundation and digital image processing technology as basic technology. Combining with pattern recognition technology, this paper works over the target recognition system of robot in access radioactive source, and then presents effective resolve methods.The following are the main contents:Robot vision and pattern recognition technology are introduced. They are the basic theories of the system.Based on theory analysis, and combining with the practice of the task, robot's target recognition in access radioactive source is brought forward. Then its principle is analyzed.Image preprocessing is introduced particularly. It will affect the recognition results, so it is importance.Image character segmentation,character's feature extraction and selection,image recognition is expounded. The three parts are the key part of the paper. Based on these, template matching is put forward to solve the problem of target recognition.MATLAB is used to simulate the system. It is proved the system is perfect.The program principle on the system is showed based on Visual C++.The last, the experiment of system is analyzed. Results of the experiment indicate the system designed is reliable and satisfies all demands.
