With the rapid development of Optical Communication Network,people has a higher expect for Network Broad Band。Today, optical signals still cannot be switched reciprocally in the opticalnetwork, and the switch between the light and electricity should be the first step to switch optical signal into electrical signal, which will be switched into optical signal again for transmission. The speed of the signal transfers has been affected by the twice light-electricity exchange in the course, which is one of the choke points of the data transmission in optical communication network.On present Trunk net,the speed of optical signal has reached T level, and the calls for optic signal exchanging are increasing, which consequently give birth to the optical switch. Among the optical switches,MEMS optical switch has caught extensive social attention at its very appearance with its distinct advantages. Nowadays, the optical Switch has developed vigorously. The forms of the MEMS Optical Switch are various and cannot be completely covered in this article, which is based on systematical research ranging from designing to testing on one or two kind of MEMS Optical Switch. Having analyzing great deal of statistics, we decided to design reflecting-mirror Optical Switch,that is driven by heat power and by static power respectively, which will be made up of four parts of optical fiber selection, structure design,the optical fiber slot design and driver design etc, among which the four-beams optical switch driven by static power is unique and novel in its design and simple in its structure. During the course of technical design and processing, we take the advantages of the Micro reflecting-mirror optical switch and silicon stuff to devise KOH isomerism Erosion and 自对准.We can find that the surfaces of most sample products are smooth by observing the micro reflecting-mirror part of SEM photos and the result is more perfect. In View of the deficiency of the non-standard and technique design aroused in the course of MEMS process, only the good part of the sample product can be used for testing. As the finished sample optical switch being achieved, we have designed encapsulation to meet the need of testing. Now, because we are still at testing stage, and the encapsulation has been designed to facilitate to be processed and hand installation. applying the semiconductor laser source and power instrument of optic signal of the ACTERNA company,we have tested the four-beams optical switch driven by static power on its reflect waste and insert waste and discovered that although the outcome of the connection waste is unfavorable, the testing of reflect waste indicate the Mirror processing technique is successful. Meanwhile, from this test, we can understand the shortage of our research and could be able to optimize our design on optical fiber slot, technique, and encapsulation. When the article is expected to be concluded, another sample products are being manufactured, which will be expected to be improved too much on its performance to meet the practicality.。...
