A Protocol For M-Commerce Based On Third-Party's Computing

It is a mainstream in 21 century to apply the mobile devices intoE-Commerce. Some problems in E-Commerce such as wiretapping,tampering and repudiation are treated with by Encryption and DigitalSignature. But the two parties, mobile device and server, will have thedifferent ability in computing because of the difference of the bulk, whichwill cause the business cannot carry on efficiently. In this paper, aimed atDigital Signature, a protocol for M-Commerce based on third-party'scomputing is presented, through which we will insure the security andefficiency of the M-Commerce by dint of the third-party's computingability. According to the feature of M-Commerce, the WAP Gateway isemployed as the third-party in the protocol. Message from or to mobiledevice will be generated through the WAP Gateway. So the protocol willavoid the problem of working efficiency entirely except for morenetworking transformations. In our content, the security and high efficiency of the protocol areproved, and we also design the hardware structure of the new protocol.
