Research Of MANET QoS Routing

Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork(MANET) is an auto non-infrastructure network system of mobile hosts which are connected with each other via wireless links. Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork is a collection of wireless multi-hop transfer connections, and is easy to deployed with its mobility. The MANET has a good prospect of extensive using. In order to supply Quality of Service(QoS) for traffic transferring, the performance of routing algorithm should be improved. This thesis researches on the QoS routing protocol of MANET. After considering the researches of QoS model in the wired network and the characteristics of the MANET, a QoS routing algorithm AODV-Q based on the AODV protocol is presented. Analyzed by the computer simulation, the improved AODV-Q algorithm has good performances of QoS and make the network resources used effectively, besides the efficiency is only drop a little contrasted to the AODV.
