Along with the high-speed development of the computers, many countries' satellites have succeeded launching continuously, the satellites and remote sensing techniques are developing quickly, the application of the remote sensing is also more widespread. Remote sensing plays a more and more important role in climate change of the world, forest and grass land resources, water, land and wild animals etc. People's request for the remote sensing images is higher and higher with the more and more application of remote sensing. Radiometric correction, as a basical image correction method, has been improved continuously. Many scholars from all countries have researched much about radiometric correction, most methods aimed at some certain radiation distortion reasons. Then their application is narrow. People in different scope have to look for different radiometric correction methods. Firstly, based on those methods, this paper researches radiometric calibration site of MODIS from visible light band and thermal infrared band. At the same time, the paper improves the current methods and compares with others. Secondly, this paper corrects some TM images based on the local maximum entropy. With local statistic property in image, we can correct some images in radiation distortion in this method. At last, in order to use the arithmetic, this paper experiments much with VC programs. Beside this paper gives some advice for the future research.
