Radiation and geometric calibration is an important premise to complete inversion of quantitative remote sensing. The accuracy and application of remote sensing data depends largely on the reliability of remote sensor calibration precision. Currently, high spectral resolution and high spatial resolution remote sensing trends make the aerial camera, carrying out radiometric calibration and doing geometric calibration at the same time, become a crucial element in the airborne remote sensing applications. Laboratory calibration is the first step of remote sensor calibration. It is not only a test of cameras'geometric and radiation properties, but also providing reference value for in-orbit calibration. By studying various domestic and overseas calibration methods,dissertated the basic principles of radiometric and geometric laboratory calibration. Analyzed the methods and processes. Established a test field for indoor geometric calibration. Discussed the key technologies in detail,determined the scope of the test field according to the targets'physical characteristics,such as shape and size, enhanced the illumination by floodlights after testing the optical properties of artificial targets to solve the problem that images are not clear with wavelength increaseing. By a series experiments of semblable cameras, verified the reliability of the geometric test field.Combined with the single CCD quad-band remote sensing camera of IRSA,Completed radiometric and geometric calibration systematically, based on integrating sphere and trap detector radiometric calibration method and three-dimensional control field geometric calibration method. On this basis, developed radiometric and geometric calibration data processing software for aerial remote sensing camera calibration,processed and analyzed the test data of single-CCD quad-band camera,characterized it's properties.Finally, summarized the main contents of this article ,as well as the further work.
