High precision space location is one of the advanced techniques extensively used in many fields. It can measure posture and tracking of automation equip and operation object, and evaluate performance of machine system, and automation, movement layout etc. It has important significance to research vision location system that has high precision and speed and strong environment adjustability.In order to solve the position coordinate and track of the 3D object of high precision and high speed and all the weather and low-cost, We put forward the space location system practicality technically research based on many one-dimensional cameras PSD. This kind of device has extensive apply value in scientific research and produce and life.The paper introduces the geometry orientation theory based on the PSD. And design the hardware structure of the location system. Analyze the non-linearity reason of the PSD output and presents a new error-compensation approach of non-linearity for PSD and the normalization model. This paper completes the design of the experiment system and does plenty of experiments. Proved the feasibility and reasonable of PSD and all kinds of capability guideline.The experiments show that the space location method based on PSD is short-time sampling. Simple calculate method and high precision . It is so easy to realize the circuit design. It is stronger dependability and lower cost. In conclusion, this paper not only offers technically preparation and theory foundation, but also it can be used to position measure and tracking in many fields extensively.
