High precision space location is one of the advanced techniques extensively used in many field. It can measure posture and tracking of automation equip and operation object, and evaluate performance of machine system, and measure error model, control position closed loop, and distant operate off line or on line, and examine shape change and vibration of big architectural, etc. It has important significance to research vision location system that has high precision and speed and strong environment adjustability.In order to strive for the project-FAST(Five Hundred Meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope), We put forward the space location system based on one-dimensional cameras. The location system of feedback storehouse (fixing carrier of non-wire signal receiving antenna) is key technique in this project. This location system requires for the features as follows:1 Real time capability. In order to control dynamic posture closed loop, the space location system is required to offer the posture data in environment or reference coordinate real time.2 Extensive range . In many working conditions, for example, moving robot, distance operating system in water and big precision equipment etc, the space location system is required to offer extensive measure range to adapt the extensive range of the dynamic object. 3 High precision . Posture measure and feedback control usually require for corresponding precision, especially it is used in distant operation (for example, robot dummy showing, inspecting operation etc), the position relation between executing machine and operating object is required to be very veracious.4 Working out-of-doors all days.It has many difficulties to design and research the space location system according with the above requirements. On base of entirely location and robot system calibration, we put forward the space location technology based on many one-dimensional cameras. In addition, this space location system may offer position information to robot and automation equipment real time, and it can offer dynamic performance testing.PSD (Position Sensing Detector) is an especial photo-electricity diode, and it is a new-style semiconductor detector that outputting continuous position information. This space location system utilizes the principle of non-parallel planes intersecting. It make use of three correctitude PSD camera to observation the same objective, and form three correctitude space planes, the point of intersection is the position of the objective. If these plane equations can be established, the position of objective is to be figured out. According to the above location principle, this space location system is made up of target lamp, PSD camera, signal processing circuit, signal collector board and data processing computer. The structure of space location system is shown as follows: This paper designs and analyses each function module soundly. The signal lamp includes LED infrared modulating lamp-house and controller composed of switch and drive circuit. When the system uses multi-LED, this controller receives orders and selects lamp-house orderly. The measurement camera includes one-dimension PSD, cylinder lens and preamplifier. It is fixed on tripod that can move along three directions. The light signal that camera received is conformed to simulate electrical signal by PSD, through preamplifier, it is sent to signal processing module. PSD has two output channels, in order to increase SNR and extent of the position signal, we deal with these two signals separately by amplifier, filter, modulating and integer. We adopt data collection board PCL-818L to lock up each signal and carry out A/D. Then the position information is sent to data processing memory.The system calibration is to confirm the original parameter, including reference coordinate and the counterchange relations between measure equipment and reference coordinate.
