Research On The Model Of Multi-Agent Based Distrubuted Manufacturing Control System And Design Principles

In the past 40 years, with the transformation of society and development of modern technology characterized by Information Technology, great changes have been taken place in the context of business environment, which has profound effect on the domain of manufacturing. From 1980s, new philosophy and paradigms emerged continously; "Distributed Manufacturing Systems" has been recognized as the new future of manufacturing industry. As the critical factor, manufacturing control determined not only the capability of enterprises to respond customer's need quickly and effectively, but also the profit and competitive advantage in a dynamic environment. Consequently, with the changes of manufacturing organizations from central to distributed form, appropriate control architectures have been highly focused by the researchers.Based on studying and inheriting existing achievements in this field from both home and overseas, this thesis: (1) proposed a new hybrid control architecture for distributed manufacturing systems; (2) generalized relevant principles for the design and development of Multi-Agent based Distributed Manufacturing Control System; (3) based on the proposed architecture and principles, a model for Multi-Agent based Distributed Manufacturing Control System has been built up for a practical sample at the final.
