With the rapid development of information technology and extensive application of information equipment, information security has become the key of dominating nation and society. Meanwhile, safe and high-efficient cryptosystem is the base of information security. ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem), compared with other public key cryptosystems such as RSA, DSA, has advantages such as being small of operation amount, short of key and higher security, which make ECC become the research focus in recent years.This dissertation focuses on the research of digital signature based on ECC. The contributions of the dissertation are as follows:(1) The digital signature and the application of elliptic curve cryptosystem were analyzed, and a new signature equation form and the basic demands of the signature scheme with new structure were given. Based on them, three new schemes were deduced, and they have advantages compared with IEEE P1363's recommend ECDSA scheme.(2) The scheme of the digital signature was applied to identity authentication, and a key exchange scheme and an identity authentication scheme on the basis of digital signature were put forward, then the security of the authentication scheme was analyzed.(3) Key and main algorithm of implement of ECC were analyzed. Then a file signature system which based on ECC was designed and realized. At the same time, improved schemes were also compared with ECDSA scheme in the signature velocity.
