With the development of the computer intelligence technology, robotic technology and the industrial automatization, the application field of the robotic weld technology in industrial manufacturing becomes wider and deeper. This situation raises a higher requirement to the current application technology of robotic weld.In this paper, firstly the research content of artificial intelligence and some intelligence control technology in today's industrial automatication field are introduced and analyzed. Secondly, some key issues of the design and development of industrial weld robot system are analyzed with the current situation. Then combined with the content researched former, some corresponding solution are raised, including the robot path optimization system with interactive learning control, the welding-line auto-track system with fuzzy control, the weld process control system with, self-learning fuzzy neural networks control, the management system of welding torch washing with expert system control. Lastly the implementation of a weld robot system with the application of this intelligent technology is introduced, including the layout of architecture and the design of both software and hardware.
