File Format Design And Feature Modeling On Interactive Emluator Platform

Recently, With the development of the photo-realistic display technology of computer graphics and the computer hardware, it's probable and convenient for us to describe the three dimensional world. What is more, the requirement of all kinds of fields to computer graphics technology is not confined to the plain and still graphics. With the development of computer simulation, virtual reality, three-dimensioned game, it's more important for the 3D scenery to build and real-timely render.The paper, which is based on the project of National Science Fund -Behavior-Characteristic modeling for Distributed & Interactive 3D Scenery and the project the Development of Distributed and Interactive 3D Simulation Platform, chiefly research the modeling of 3D scenery and self-defined file format ,and try feature modeling, implement bumping texture.3DS File format is exchanged file format for modeling software-3Dmax, It can be imported by other modeling software such as Poser, and many other 3D modeling software support 3DS file format, so it is general.3DS file format just includes many geometry information, but it is not enough for the project, in order to incarnate the alternation, we should import the physics and behavior characteristics, in order to record them, we must have some struct, so we need self-defined file format.In addtion, feature parameter modeling is another part, feature means that there are some basic models in sample library, then we can expand more with one kind of model.In this paper, a brief discussion is carried out and the body model employed is extremely simple, with neck, breast and waist only. Through the adjustment of parameter, the neck, breast and waist can be changed respectively into various sizes, thus the body would take on different statures. This accounts for the fatness and slightness of a person. However, the lack of interpolation between joints makes the body not natural enough.
