This paper researches on susceptibility of CRT computer monitor based on making use of the measurement system of one dimensional and high magnetic field sensor. The experiment show flick characteristics of pixels of monitors with magnetic field intensity and refreshment of monitors. Based on transmission line theory and dual principle this paper also deduces the theoretical formula of shielding effectiveness of metal sheet, and simulates the results of shielding effectiveness at different condition of metal sheet. This paper makes many experiments to investigate the shielding effectiveness of steel and aluminum plates. The results show that the shielding effectiveness of aluminum plate has advantage on steel plate, and show that there is one distance away from plate which is the optimum of shielding effectiveness.
