Research On Distance Educational Administration System Based On J2EE

The applications of Distance Education are used widely with the development of the Internet. It is widely accepted that Web-based distance education is very important. As an essential part of distance education, Distance Educational Administration System becomes more and more important. This thesis describes how to analyze, design and implement an extended educational administration system, especially some key technical problems in the development of the system.This system is implemented with MVC (Model, View, Control) design pattern on the J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) platform, so that the user interface is properly separated from business logics. The user interface, model and control are independent in systematic architecture, thus the system is extendable, universal and maneuverable. This thesis analyzes the system with UML,and details the designs of the system,mainly including the design of system architecture, database, file system and information security and so on. Moreover, the thesis especially describes some related key technologies to deploy the system, such as the Web application with MVC design pattern on the J2EE platform, the access to systematic data (using database pool) and the assurance of data security using advanced encrpytion tachniques.
