The traditional industrial control software adopts the already existing C/S (Customer/Server) mode, Software vendor has to develop the corresponding driver for various kinds of hardwares. And one system with too much drivers , in the fields of systematic opening, stability, reusability, maintainability, spends more satisfactory.The new developing one, OPC "softbus" technology on the basis of Microsoft COM/DCOM, for the data communication of the industrial control (Data Collection), the integration of the heterogeneous system and the construction of the multi-layer software system, offer the new standard differently. The system adapting the OPC has the special characteristics, such as high speed data communication, high flexibility, high dependability and high degree reusability.This thesis, is it to COM/DCOM simple exposition of technology, prove OPC foundation of technology to pass. And it overall illuminates the basic conception, the structure of the C/S, OPC structure mode, Object and interface, data transmission mechanism and development methods of the Client and Server of OPC, etc.. And especially to the application of the heterogeneous system integration further investigate. By virtue of the configuration software based on the OPC, it realize the data communication function between the PLC and Measuring and Controlling system of some project mechanical drive.
