Research And Design On Automatic Fingerprint Identification System Of Combining Minutia With Brushfire Image

Within the Biometric Identification Technology family, fingerprint identification is the one that most easy to acquire from people. This technology is convenient, reliable and reasonable-priced, it has great representative and pretty future in appliance.Fingerprint identification technology is being gradually mature, but there's still many unresolved problems, especially the identification problem of fragmentary, blurred fingerprint.In this paper, an automatic fingerprint identification system that based on the feature identification and image identification is produced. This system can used by some department to identify the fragmentary, blurred fingerprint, as well as meet the higher requirements from the users that emphasize the security, thereby increase the fingerprint recognize rate and decrease the error rate.The research methodology here design the pre-proceed method for the identification based on fingerprint minutia and the fingerprint image identification along with the method for partial gray-scale image respectively base on the feature analysis of fingerprint image and the analysis of image process and identification method.This paper concerned about following issues.First, We study the method for image process and identification systematically, and design the automatic fingerprint identification system. The system should do the partial fingerprint image matching after finish the minutia matching of fingerprint, gaining part of the image from fingerprint image, take this as the assistant identification method.The second issue is the implementation of fingerprint identification system based on the minutia matching, involve process the fingerprint image with Gabor filter, finalization of the image and the subsequent modify, the abstract and matching of fingerprint's minutia.The last one is the implementation of system based on the partial gray-scale image identification, involve the validation of partial image, gray-scale adjustment and noise disposal, feature abstraction and identification with moment technology.The major research result of this text is designed and completed the automatic fingerprint identification system which combined Minutia with Brushfire Image. This system combined tradition way of fingerprint image identification and common way of image identification, and go deep research into these two ways. According to the analysis of research result, this system reduced the false acknowledge rate and false rejection rate effectively. It could satisfy the request of fingerprint identification system.
