As an important branch of information hidden, digital watermarking is a new field in security of information and play a magnificent role in copyright protection of digital work.Digital watermarking algorithm, which is the basis of digital watermarking, is the focus of research. At present, watermarking schemes embed additional information as watermark in digital works; the conflict between the robustness and imperceptibility of digital watermarking happens inevitably, because during the process the data of original digital works is changed. So, the embedding process not modifying any data of original digital works is expected, in order to enhance the robustness and transparence of digital watermarking. After discussing the influence and application feature of digital watermarking and analyzing common attacks of digital watermarking, a scheme of digital copyright protection is presented. For the conflict between robustness and imperceptibility during embedding, a new watermarking technique — non-watermarking is introduced. Non-watermarking utilizes the feature of the original works to construct a watermark, but does not modify the data.On the basis of analysis and evaluation of DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) and order cumulates non-watermarking, a new non-watermarking based DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform) is presented in order to improve the robustness of non-watermarking. Moreover, the algorithm is designed and implemented from constructing and detecting, and the chaos encryption is introduced to meet the need of security. Through the test, the algorithm can resist the attacks of geometry, noise, compress of JPEG, filter, dither and gray adjusting; it is a robustness algorithm.
