Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technology is mainly used to connect"Information Island" at first. It aims to make shared and integrated. Nowadays EAImainly use middleware and application server, and moving to reusable, pluggable andloose-Coupling component integration. Service Oriented Architecture is essentially based on the principle of loose-Coupling,all the units of SOA called service, and these services are build on well defined interfaceand standards, such as XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. Rich clients technology mainly aims to overcome some shortcomings of B/S modeland take advantages of C/S model, it make full use of the computing ability of clients. TheClients deal with the user interface logic, and the server, deal with business logic and backend. XML based user interface is adopted as its core platform. SOA and Rich Clients provide EAI some new implementation methods. SOAprovides EAI organizing the internal components with unified interfaces and standards, and Rich Clients provides a unified and powerful user interface. SOA focus on the systemarchitecture and business logic tied, and Rich Clients deals with user interface and presentlogic. The combining of SOA and Rich Clients is complementary to EAI. Then we can use SOA and Rich Clients technology to establish EAI, that is calledService Oriented Integration with Rich Clients Interface (SOIRCI).At first, this thesisanalyzed the basic layers of SOIRCI module including the detail structures of data layer, business layer and present layer, and give some expand models to combine some populartechnology and architecture, such as distribute system and semantic web. The second, thethesis described the basic features of the SOIRCI module, discussed its advantages and itsapplication range. Finally, the basic SOIRCI module was used to meet an actualintegration need.
