Millions of computing resources,data resources have converged in Internet as computer network develops quickly. People hope that computing capacities and memory capacities of the interconnecting network devices aggregate together to realize the resource sharing,cooperative work and joint computing by peer-to-peer technology. In peer-to-peer network nodes can join and leave freely and actively. It is a focus issue how to locate or lookup the resources so that we can make use of them. The paper outlines a research about the routing mechanism and resources query facilities on P2P network. After describing the basic concepts,architecture,application areas and key problems of P2P technology, the paper emphasizes on the analysis of the routing mechanism of P2P. To clarify comparisons with current P2P routing models, the paper focus on the routing methods based on distributed hash table (DHT). Because DHT methods just provide exact-match query facility, not satisfying the flexible query requirements, the paper also discusses a scalable, flexible multi-keyword resource located technology. The paper proposes the filtering conjunctive operation scheme similar with distributed database. It also includes an incremental search over the peers to decrease the query latency and bandwidth consumed. Lastly we investigate the popularity of user search behaviors and provide the cache strategy to reduce the overhead associated with operations spread across the wide area to provide the efficient resource query and access in scalable P2P system.According to the related theory researches and analyses, the paper adopts communication methods of JXTA platform widely used and implements the overall designs of the routing mechanism based on DHT. By the communication message format designs, the system realizes the cooperative searches among nodes. At last the paper discusses the conclusion and future work.
