Research Of Support Software System For Dve'S Communication

Distributed Virtual Environment (DVE) is the integration of virtual reality and computer network technology. DVE can overcome the restriction of space-time, and provides a new means for human being to analyze problems, resolve problems and cooperate. DVE technology has been successfully applied in some fields such as military, aerospace, aviation, medicine, amusement etc. It also shows great prospect in the fields such as education, training, engineering design, manufacture, and e-commerce. During simulation all computers keep the same environment by network communication. So, network communication is one most field of DVE research.Combined with SVC-Link system which is designed by the virtual central of Southeast University, the design of network communication's support software system and it's key implementation techniques are introduced in this paper. First, the related concepts of DVE are presented, and DVE's network request and system structure are analyzed. Based on analysis of request, the plan of design is given, including three modules: the module of PDU management, the module of simulation management, the module of space-time and event consistency. Then, the key design and implement techniques are discussed in the paper. At last, the software system is verified by a simulation experiment.During the process of system design, a practical solution is put forward, which is significant for the development and application of DVE,and it provides a convenient platform for network communication of DVE.
