A Research On The Adaptable Management Information System Based On The Distributive System Framework

Research on Management Information System is a particular branch of management theory, which is a combination of management theory and information technology. How to merge the two parts is a key to the success of enterprise information construction.There are two stages in the history of MIS development, which are Integrated System Framework stage and Distributive System Framework. Along with the increase of business scale and complexity, the traditional Integrated System Framework is being more and more unadaptive. The MIS framework is now changing from Integrated System Framework to Distributive System Framework. How to use the new distributive information technology in enterprise information construction is an important factor to success.By the analysis on the management theory and information technology, it raises a model on distributive framework that is useful in enterprise information construction. The model has been used in the actual enterprise information construction practice and has been confirmed to be adaptive. Through the model, the conflict between the need of flexibility in business and the rigidity of traditional management information system is resolved.
