Research And Application Of Equipment Management System Using Middleware

The J2EE (Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition) platform is a system structure for the requirement of the enterprise application, and the simplification of the development anddeployment for enterprise's solution, and the management of the relevant complicated problem. Its core is EJB (Enterprise JavaBeans) middleware (a norm about coding the component of the server end with Java). To the different constructing of the network environment of the equipment management system, we introduce middleware into equipment management, put forward the development thought of the equipment management system based on multi-tier structure of the middleware, analyze the selection of platform with the core technology of EJB, study the architecture and the technique on EJB deeply, analyze a great deal of factors in the system design, provide the concrete system design, discuss EJB design mode, reduce the expenses of the long-range method call and transfer, improve the performance of the system, reduce systematic complexity. On the data tier, EJB tier, Web tier, we have realized function such as user managing, recording and inquiring about the account book of the equipment, inquiring about the state of the equipment, producing the equipment use calendars, adjusting equipment use calendar by hand, recording equipment use account of the history, have a look around the arrangement of the equipment and producing various kinds of report forms. Finally, we build the system based on multi-tier structure of the middleware. The whole design philosophy of the system and the design method are realized basically in the equipment management system. The system has the features as follows:(l)support the heterogeneity of network environment, have open standard, and retain IT resource.(2)Separation from bottom tier business logic strengthens systematic portability and expandability. (3)The systematic network security is strengthened too, dependability is ensured. (4)The application of the middleware makes equipment management more convenient and swifter, strengthens the prescroption and transparency, and improves benefit of equipment management(5) system that is formed by component has good getting reusable, scalable, maintainability, expansibility.
