Image Stitching Methods Of Material Auto-Inspection System

Image Stitching technology not only Stitch the several small range images into a whole image according image accquisition sequence but also can correct error, eliminate redundancy of information and compress information in the store. The inspection speed and veracity of the inspection system finally can be improved. The research on image processing applications in radiate shield material inspection has been made in the thesis. With the definite resolution ratio, field of vision of CCD vidicon is limited that affect the speed of detect, so image Stitching is put forward to improve rate and precision of inspection system.Firstly, the status and the development trend of the image inspection technology and image matching technology are briefly introduced, especially the hardware and software construction of inspection-system, image preprocessing are introduced in details.Secondly, according to the flow chart of image stitching, three key technologies are emphatically elaborated in the procedure of image stitching which including image acquisition, geometric correction, and image registration and blending. On geometric correction, current algorithms of coordinates transform and products model methods are analyzed. On image registration, area-based template matching methods are improved after analyzing the principle and algorithm of template matching method. On image blending, after explaining origin of the edge of image blending and denoising the edge, based on the methods including image geometric correction, template matching and image blending, the image stitching system model are presented with Visual C++ programme.At last, interface design, software functions and test results are introduced, the inspection system has been applied in actural inspection with good results and low cost, it promotes the automation, intellgence and measurement standard normalization of products inspection.
