Nowadays the combination of the spread spectrum communication and software radio has been the inevitable trend in the field of communication.This paper told of the theories and realizing methods about the transmitter of spread spectrum communication based on the software radio . Firstly the paper discussed the theoretic knowledge of this task, gives out the particular explaination about the theory such as, the theory of software radio, the ways of digitizing the analog signals, channel coding, the generation of spread spectrum code, Especially, the realization method of digital chaotic sequence and its performance simulation achieved by the MATLAB language is expounded in the section of spread spectrum code. Then the hardware configuration of this system is studied, the application of every functional chip and interface mode between two chips are described in details . Hardware plat is focused on the DSP+DDS.All the methods of coding, categories of spectrum codes and the ways of signal modulation can be changed easily by adjusting the correlative software . Ensuring the simplicity and practicality of the configuration based on the software radio characteristics. At the end of the paper, it introduced the working mechanism and software flow chart of the whole system.
