Study OSS Of The Wide-Band IP Network

The main content of this paper is to study OSS(Operations SupportSystems)of the wide-band IP network. First, The paper introduces theactuality and the developing trend of OSS. In my practical work, Ispecialized in two parts: the development of agent software and singlesign-on. This paper gives detail introduction of the two parts. In a VLAN, when client needs service, it sends broadcast with addressand number of port to the whole VLAN. All the servers in the VLAN,which are consistent with the number of port, will respond to it. However,the broadcast is only effective to the local, it can't cross WAN. If clientneed service which cross VLAN, we should supply agent software. Ourgameproxy software is an agent software for SCNN1000 wide-bandaccessing server of KEJIAN Co.. The main function of gameproxysoftware is to realize the communication of games among different VLANsand ensure the multi-VLAN playing. Because this software operates at - iii -北京化工大学硕士学位论文different VLAN, however, every VLAN may need different OS platform,so software should possess increased portability. ACE has the advantage ofincreased portability, increased software quality, Increased efficiency andpredictability and Easier transition to standard higher-level middleware.Moreover, Increased portability of the ACE components make it easy towrite concurrent networked applications on one OS platform and quicklyport them to many other OS platforms, so we developed software usingACE. Moreover, ACE is a freely available, open-source object-oriented(OO) framework that implements many core design patterns for concurrentcommunication software. ACE provides a rich set of reusable C++ wrapperfacades and framework components that perform common communicationsoftware tasks across a range of OS platforms. Authentication technology is important to information security andtechnology. Authentication is the base of the service and payment. SSImeans that the authentications of all clients are operated by ISP. To ICP, itmeans that it's no use to manage clients and write many authenticationsand registration code. Through the fa?ade provided by ISP, ICP can realizethe single sign-on of the authentications of clients simply and safely; at thesame time, the client authentication which large-scale ICP have owned canbe brought into the single sign-on system. For clients, they only needauthenticate once, but they can access the whole network(union of helpingcharge).It's convenient because they don't need to memory a large of - iv -北京化工大学硕士学位论文names and keywords. The base of our single sign-on development is thePassport technology of Microsoft .At present, Passport union has owned140 million clients, over 130 websites, it is the biggest SSI center in theworld. This paper finished according to plan on the whole, some have appliedto practical project and it works well.
