With the rapid development of Internet ,the application of Internet has come into every aspects of people's daily life. A large number of embedded devices begin to access to Internet. Network analyst forecast that embedded devices will become more and more and that 70 percent information which transported on the Internet will come from small embedded system in the future. More attention has been paid to the realization of embedded Internet technology on 8bit processor, which used most widely in embedded devices, because of immense economy benefits. The study of embedded Internet technology is an important part in the embedded research field.The paper mainly studies how to access Internet with 8bits-MCU(Micro Control Unit) through Ethernet.The first chapter introduces the development of the embedded Internet, the practical value for research, gives the kernel content and the step of diploma design.The second chapter describes the method of embedded system access to Internet.The third chapter explains the design of embedded Internet system's hardware: components, functions and feasibility of the hardware.The forth chapter analyses the program in interface, in how to realize uIP, and the flow of the program.In the fifth chapter, gives two embedded Internet application examples, one is as client, the other as server.At last, the paper summarizes the personal experience in the project, and give the expectation of the future work.
