| With the development of the computer science and the network technology, E-commerce technique developed prosperously. The enormous potential of E-commerce has been recognized, and become the focus of the global competition. In order to accelerate our development in IT service, improve the IT service level, accelerate software export, we combined OCR technique with E-commerce technology and conceive the Occident Data Service Export Platform. OCR service has huge market demand in occident. It can be used in many fields. For example, OA, hospital management, case handling. At the same time there are many excellent human resources in our country so the Occident Data Service Export Platform will be promising. This thesis compares several popular E-commerce platforms IBM Websphere, Oracle E-business Suite and Microsoft Commerce Server and finds out the appropriate E-commerce platform for this project-Microsoft Commerce Server 2002. The platform is built on the abundant experience of the E-commerce server technology of Microsoft. Microsoft is considered the best developer of E-commerce server. As the part of the Microsoft Windows Server System, Commerce server 2002 is a extendable solution. User can deploy personal portal rapidly.This thesis introduces Commerce Server's architecture, development platform, management tools. And designs the occident data server export E-commerce platform in B/S module based on the commerce server. This platform is composed of front handling system and back handling system. Customer can register, submit the OCR recognition task, realize the basket function, online payment and receive the recognition result via front handling system. Administrators can manage customers' data and order form, collect the customer information and the website usage information and then do online analysis process, make many sorts of analysis reports, issuance advertisement and send E-mail to customer via back handling system. It accumulates experience for the further development.
