A Method Of Small Amount Data Transfer In DACS Based On SMS Of GSM

Up to now, the GSM(Global System for Mobiel Communication) network works very well. By utilizing its increment service桽MS (Short Message Service), we can transmit both Chinese and Eglish Messages using a GSM module without any other termial equipment. According to GSM standard, one short message can contain 140 bytes by maximum. So , there is a way to realize remote control or small amount data acquisition by using SMS to convey small amount of data.Currently, in demestic automatic inspection field, espcially in environmental supervising, the system connection type always is based on cable connection, which is easily restricted by working conditions. So, it is a better method of long distance communication and wild communication to build a wireless data transmiting platform by using SMS. Especially, combined with Bilayer Lipid Membranes(BLM)biosensor, it is very convenient to realize the inspection of water quality.In this paper, a newly developed wireless small amount data transfer system based on SMS and short-haul transceiver module is introduced.. Combined with transceiver module working on the universal frequency, the system can work reliably by utilizing SMS of GSM network in remote control and date transfer with low operation cost. It can be used in many fields such as environmental supervising, remote control, automatic meter reading, etc.
