Design And Implementation Of Workflow System Based On Web

More and more enterprises and departments of companies are inclined to apply information technology to workflow system in recent years, but traditionally, computer applications are limited at simple level such as documents process, documents delivering and information distribution. This paper studies the problems of design and implementation for web-based workflow system.Firstly, this paper introduces the general situation of workflow, then analyzes the deficiency of design in traditional workflow, and discusses some key technical problems existing in current workflow systems, such as processing definition language based on XML format and transfer of XML format workflow control data. A method of workflow agent is presented to link multi-node, wherein workflow interoperation and agent data structure is presented. Also, a workflow control method based on weak control is proposed and the information model and role model of weak workflow are analyzed in detail. In addition, several active types of workflow engine information model are described. And the flow chart and relevant model description of key "weak control type" are given.Based on the models and methods, a workflow information system is implemented which has been applied in some of mobile communication enterprises. The performance of the system is evaluated in the paper. The practical application of the system shows that it has good flexibility and can improve the work efficiency of the enterprises.
