| With the development of network technique and digital communication, great change have taken place in automation control domain, and coming into being an open system and interlink communication net. In the distributed automation and control system software is a very import department. Configuration-software is the most active part in the field of industry control in recent year. There are many similar functions in automation control system, and can be carried out by configuration software. It solves the problem in traditional control system and improves the rate of software reuse.In this paper the main discussion was centered on the technology of configuration software of automation and control system. Firstly, the paper describes the distributed automation and control system, including its development and basic framework. Then the technology of configuration software is fairly studied. Based on this discuss design thought of configuration software, the running environment and the other relative technology problems (such as the open design, the technology of the conjunction and function distribution, etc.). For all-scope distributed automation and control system real-time database is one of the key technologies, so real-time database was researched. Finally, combining with an actual control system analyze man-machine interface.
