Since chaotic system is a deterministic system, its noise-like behavior can be very suitable for using in secure communication. Most of chaotic signals used in recent chaotic communication study are low frequency or low rate, so they are far from satisfying the practical requirements of modern communication systems in security and rate. For few works focused on combination of chaotic theory and modern communication technology, it is of interest to study the application of the wideband chaotic signals to modern communication.Firstly, from the point of inverse chaos control, generation of wideband chaotic signals is discussed in this paper. And the simulation of generation circuit of wideband chaotic signals is carried out by means of PSpice and Matlab. Results of the simulation show that a flat frequency spectrum of chaotic signal could be generated in some ways, and its autocorrelation performance of the signal is very well.Next, the synchronization of wideband chaotic signals can be obtained from an analog chaotic system inspired by digital chaotic signal, and the synchronization is of robust. After that, an analog multi-carrier communication scheme using wideband chaotic signals as carriers is proposed and discussed. The simulation of the system error probability in wireless multi-path channel shows that the system can work in high data rate and is of good quality. Finally, another communication scheme ?single carrier chaotic spread spectrum with wavelet packets transform domain equalization is proposed, and its good performance in wireless multi-path channel is showed through simulating the system.
