Java has become the ideal programming language, because it is independent of platforms. In order to implement the server-side calculating with Java, the Sun Company developed a complete platform-J2EE, whose purpose is to provide an enterprise portable, safe and secure user platform. It is a set of robust specifications of developing enterprise middle wares. It provides a multi-level, distributed implement model and a set of specifications, which make the developers pay attention to logical parts, thus decrease the workload. There are four layers: Client, web, business, and database. EJB is a server-side structure specification. It defines how to edit the server-side components and provides standard protocols about how to manage the components for servers. Programmers don't need to be afraid of the implement of near structure. What they need to do is to devote their minds to business logic. EJB can make developers develop robust, flexible enterprise applications. As the core and basic, EJB has become of great importance, which is mainly used in distributed system. In this paper, Information Management System is implemented with EJB. The main content of this paper is as follows:l.Some functional EJB components have been made. Once deployed to server, they could work well. As many IT providers adopt EJB specifications, customers can buy any components and assemble them ,such as EJB ,containers, and EJB server.2.The whole processes from designing to code-editing is related. The application built with EJB can be moved between different severs.3. There are many differences between the systems built with EJB and that with other methods. The System shows the EJB's advantages and predicts it's bright future.
