The genetic chip is a new and high technology developed rapidly in the fields of the life sciences in the past 10 years. It is implementing successfully which follows the Human Genome Project ( Human Genome Project, HGP), a gene expression and gene revolutionary technology of the gene function study arise at the historic moment. It combines microelectric technique with molecular biology, erects a bridge between the life sciences and the information science, which is the most important technology of the gene studies in the later genome era.Gene research on the chip had already started and made important progress in our country. Our country already in national minority save, separation of the pathogenic genome, bioinformatics and new technological development of the genome, etc. made the good beginning. But the level which reaches clinical practice is not still very high.This discusses mainly the genetic chip primitive picture using computer image analysis method. Main research work and result are as follows:1. Genetic chip analysis is done using the semi-automatic, semi-handwork analyses methods in the present stage. Grey level transformation, adaptive threshold value, outline tracking method are adopted in order to realize the full-automatic analysis of the genetic chip image. The analyzed efficiency is improved greatly on condition that the analysis result is guaranteed accurately.2. Using the Visual Basic language, the image collection, the pattern, data processing and analyzing are realized. It have already employed clinically in a hospital, and achieved a good result.
