The reliability is one of the most important objectives in real-time control system design, especially in the military and aerospace fields. Based on an integrated navigation information process system in XX submarine, this thesis research the technology and method used to improve the reliability of ruggedizd computer for harsh environment, and realizes the duplex microcomputer stand-by system of the information processor in the integrated ship navigation system.By looking up and researching a lot of the relative theory and articles about fault-tolerant technology in computer science oversea and domestic, after comparing several fault-tolerant redundancy of hardware design methods, a duplex computer stand-by system solution is proposed. In hardware design , CPLD device is used to implement 32 bits counter with self-checking function. The dual computer switchover is designed to realize fault-tolerant of the system, which are the key parts for assuring the system reliability. At the same time, the detail method is provided for fault-tolerant control software, and makes system reach a higher reliability. Finally, this paper evaluates the reliability of this duplex computer stand-by system theoretically. The result of the system in laboratory shows that solution present in the paper is reasonable. The system hardware full meet the demand of integrated ship navigation system. This paper has great significance in the engineering practice of improving the reliability of integrate ship navigation system.
