Design And Implementation Of Image Acquisition System Based On PCI Bus

Large image real-time acquisition is the basement of the following image processing. As of a high performance realtime image processing system, the hardware model and software design of the image data grabber are important samely. The paper presents an avilable and applicable scheme of high speed raw video stream acquisition system based on PCI bus.Firstly, the hardware design based on Trimedia DSP chip TM1300 is systematically discussed. Secondly, the software based on TSSA (Trimedia Streaming Software Architecture) is developed to implement high speed raw video stream acquisition. Finally, we discussed data transimission between TM1300&PC.Finally, the problems and application of the proposed scheme are introduced.
