Study On Workflow Management System

Since 1990s, Workflow Technology has become a new researching focus in the domain of computer investigation. MIS constructed by Workflow Technology can support BPR adequately with its characteristics such as excellent flexibility, perfect extendibility etc. Hence it is significant to investigate WfMS deeply for improving the degree of information management, the efficiency of running and the ability of competition. This paper gives an introduction about the concerned concepts, classification, present investigating situation and the application of Workflow. It brings forward a method to realize distributed WfMS based on database. It advances corresponding task-attempering-arithmetic according to the analysis about the arrangement structure and functions of this system. On the basis of the task-attempering-arithmetic, the system can put task attempering and load balancing into reality. At last, concluding from the application of the above-mentioned method in the case of EIIS in Huaneng Yueyang Power Plant, this paper claims that the workflow task attempering system is a kind of fresh operating flat for enterprise information management, whichgives an ideal resolving project for the information construction of enterprises when connected with the idea of ERR At the end of the paper, the author makes conclusion. Moreover, this paper debates on the work what this paper did and offers the researching task for further investigation.
