Visual GUI Implementation For Network Element Configuration

Telecom network has been developing very quickly in recent years, with more large scale, more services and more diverse network elements. As the dependence of human on network increases, network management and control system become increasingly important and urgent for the reliable management and control.To make effective control and operation of the network element (NE) or the whole network, this thesis developed a Visual GUI interface software package for the NE configuration. The package can perform the setting and tracking of the NE configuration and the building of the link, logical NE and logical link. The package has passed the test of the software functions and been submitted to the use of the customers. The customers can conveniently finish the NE management by simply operating PC computer.
