An Image_Based Processing System For Non_contact Measurement Of The Volume Of Timber

Recently,timber_volume have been measured by hand and cheched the table of timber volume to get results.The article is unfolded around how to solve this realistic problem.Goal in research is to design the image_based processing system for non_contact measurement of the timber volume,not only to realize volume of timber measured high_efficiently,but also to make every effort to reach the standardization operated and automatic stores.The research approach of this thesis is:First thresholding image to set up the model of calculation.Second calculate the volume of timber through choicing the standardization and analyse the error.Last develop a image_based processing system for non_contact measurement of the volume of timber.Research results of this thesis have following two mainly: 1, Set up calculation model of measurement of the timber volumeFor certain collection system ,we can establish the relationship between the realistic object and computer model,So make it possible for non_contact measurement. 2, Success to develop a image_based processing system for non_contact measurement of thevolume of timber.Application software of system adopt Visual C++6.0.The data are managed by Microsoft SQL Sever 2000(or Access).The following are specific content:1. CDib designed to deal with Dib specially.Realize GDI of operation in Dib directly.2. Add the selection of function to the system which can select goal region. So that drop background's influencee to the mininum.3. Adopt the threshold's arithmetic of max variance to separatee the goal region.4. Realize technology of database with ADOIn a word,the research of this article not only test and verify the feasibility of image_based processing system for non_contact measurement of the volume of timber,provide the concrete scheme of development which adopt some technology,such as Visual C++,SQL Server,ADO,but also the image_based processing non_contact measurement offer one method that turn the well_considered theory into the realistic productive force,which have been of creative significance and have some popularization value.
