In this paper the reseacher proposes a workflow-based mobile payment system platform aiming at a multi-users and poly-environment involving banks, payment platform and telecom operators. The Minto Pyramid and interviews are applied in this reseach to establish a clear set of relationships between the concepts and various aspects of the issue, established in the area of a systematic and comprehensive platform is the mobile payment system. The platform provides solutions to all various problems within online payments, including multiple payment types and currencies, multi-channel support, high scalability, security and risk management, bill processing, customer relation management. This reseach addresses the diverse needs of the telecom operators and financial institutions,providing technological support in both macro and micropayments, offering prepay and prepay top-up support as well as card payment, with real time authorization and settlement, this system is designed with high volume and high availability environments. This system is implemented in open cross platform development environments, built with Unix, Oracle and Java technologies. Cross platform interfaces have been provided by the industry standard protocols such as HTTP, XML, TCP/IP,IS08583. In a wireless environment, this platform is designed to support payment transactions for GSM, GPRS, CDMA, 3G, etc. in accordance with the standard of the design and implement of the mobile payment, this platform allows itself to be deployed in a wireless operator' s secure environment or at a financial institution. The wireless operator may be linked with one or more financial institutions to get support in mobile payments or may provide payment services independentof any financial institutions. Since wireless support requires open standards such as WAP and Wireless PKI. etc, the system may be adapted by any entity without the need for particular agreements or authorization, in reference to a praetical use in a project, this thesis' s focus is on designing a mobile payment engine under the circumstance of mobile payment, composed of format transformings intelligence router switchings transaction processing and data processing, etc. Applying a mature language call roughly identical XML we can create the script of workflow process, Preprocessed by the compiler, the script describing business processes can execute precisely,. In practice, it is proved that mobile payment platform based on workflow engine possess very good technology acceptable, except for some problems to be solved in the future.
