Recently, it is very hot on building portal website all over the world. The construction of portal is a system project which is great and complicated. Compared to traditional public information websites, a portal needs to support more connection modes, single sign-on, individuation, search, collaboration, work flow, information integration, application integration and so on. Security is one of the important aspects due to its complicated application. A security-supported platform for portal is not only the emphasis, but also the carrier of reliable portal application system. This thesis is focus on how to design and realize a perfect security-supported platform for complicated portal application.Nowadays, enterprise can build a portal by using professional portal server or developing over traditional web server. Professional portal servers and web servers are mostly provide by foreign companies. These servers can provide some security functions, mainly on web access, data translation, single sign-on etc. These security characteristics are more efficient on solve some security problems, but they have some limitations, such as safe single sign-on between portals and safe data communication between portals.This thesis is emphasis on how to design and realize an integrated, most useful security-supported platform for great and complicated portal application. We progress in the following aspects: 1) to design and deploy a perfect security-supported platform by integrating manifold security technology; 2) solve the problem of single sign-on between portals greatly; 3) the encryption of data translated between portals; 4) the new application of PKI digital signature on portal's security-supported platform.
